This activity has been designed to cover the Connections, Comparisons, and Communities ACTFL standards. It provide students with an opportunity for research and writing and to integrate the vocabulary, grammar, and culture concepts previously acquired:
– Modes of transportation
– Beaches
– Weather
– Prepositions
– Contractions
– The HIstory of Florida: San Agustin
– Immigration from Latin America
– Cultural fusion
– Geography
– Ecology
Students and their teacher will watch the Spanish version of the vocabulary and grammar video together. Then, students must complete a final activity: Unas vacaciones maravillosas (A marvelous vacation), which will allow them to share the Spanish knowledge gained up to this point with their classmates or family. Each activity includes its corresponding rubric.
