In this video, students learn that gravity pulls the International Space Station, or ISS, a little closer to Earth. They understand how drag causes the ISS to slow down, the challenges of keeping the ISS in orbit, and how NASA counteracts orbital decay. (Note: Since the production of this video, construction of the ISS has been completed and the Space Shuttle has been retired.)
