Pattern Talk is an activity designed to get students seeing the pattern between the figures, predicting the next figures in the pattern, and discussing their answers and processes with one another. Various student strategies are presented at a higher level of math, but these patterns lend themselves to discussion of patterns in addition and making predictions.
