This interactive lessons teaches students about the Kirby-Bauer disc diffusion method. Students can follow the steps to measure the response of a variety of bacterial isolates to antibiotic treatment. Three assay plates are available for students to explore the susceptibility of Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, or Pseudomonas aeruginosa against 13 antibiotics.
