This article presents a case study on the award-winning blended learning model used by BELL (Building Educated Leaders for Life), a nonprofit organization that provides summer and afterschool tutoring in low-income, urban communities. The article describes some of the challenges and solutions of converting face-to-face classroom training into blended learning in order to scale up the number of staff trained and enable a company’s growth.
