In this assignment, students must read two poems “The Walrus and the Carpenter” by Lewis Carroll and “The Walrus and the Carpenter Head Back” by J.T. Holden. Students will then be asked many questions on the two poems and all of these questions align to certain CCSS ELA standards and will challenge students to think conceptually about the poems.
