This activity has been designed to cover the Connections, Comparisons, and Communities ACTFL standards. It provide students with an opportunity for research and writing and to integrate the vocabulary, grammar, and culture concepts previously acquired:

– History

– Countries and cities

– Communities

– Preterite tense in regular -ar, -er, and -ir verbs

– Direct object pronouns

– Punctuation and accents

– The Mayas and the Incas

– Independence Age

– Latin American and US culture

Students and their teacher will watch the Spanish version of the vocabulary and grammar video together. Then, students must complete a final activity: Un carácter de televisión (A TV character), which will allow them to share the Spanish knowledge gained up to this point with their classmates or family. Each activity includes its corresponding rubric.

We have provided the videos embedded within the lesson PDF and also separately in (.mp4) format. Please verify that you have appropriate and updated software for viewing the videos before you purchase.
