This lesson has been designed to cover the Connections, Comparisons, and Communities ACTFL standards. It provide students with an opportunity for research and writing and to integrate the vocabulary, grammar, and culture concepts previously acquired:
– Furniture
– Personal items
– Possessive adjectives
– Prepositions
– The verb “hay”
– The two-way influence of Puerto Rico and EEUU
Students and their teacher will watch the Spanish version of the vocabulary and grammar video together. Then, students must complete two engaging extension activities: Mi cuarto ideal and Redacción: Así es mi cuarto ideal, which will allow them to create projects that can be shared with their classmates or family to show the Spanish knowledge gained up to this point. Each activity includes its corresponding rubric.
