This journal publishes descriptive taxonomy of the eukaryotic world. Contributions include articles on such topics as descriptions of taxa, (sub-) continental or global checklists, and taxonomic revisions. A consortium of European natural history institutions are involved in the publishing. All articles published are compliant with different nonmenclatural codes.
